CareerLinks is The PGA of America's award-winning complimentary employment referral service that was launched in 1996 with a mission to help foster successful employment relationships between golf facility employers and qualified PGA Professionals. CareerLinks was awarded The BoardRoom magazine's "2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Association Program of the Year" for its overall excellence, achievements, innovation and vision for future growth in the golf industry.
Since it’s inception, CareerLinks has assisted nearly 4,000 industry employers who have indicated 100 percent customer satisfaction for employment services in the golf industry.
CareerLinks' success revolves around two key components, with the most important being the professional services and assistance provided by nine regional PGA Employment Services Consultants. The Consultants make the CareerLinks process fast and efficient with services such as employment referral, executive recruiting, needs analysis, interview assistance, job descriptions, compensation information, and much more. The Consultants' goal is to simplify the hiring process and help ensure that a mutually successful employment relationship is created.
The second component of CareerLinks is a state-of-the-art database search system that can instantaneously identify qualified PGA candidates based on the employers search specifications. The CareerLinks database contains employment information similar to what is found on a resume, for more than 16,000 PGA trained professionals.
A regional PGA Employment Services Consultant will help you identify the skills and experience that are necessary to perform the job. The Consultant enters the search specifications in the database that identifies qualified PGA candidates. CareerLinks then notifies qualified PGA Professionals about the position. The employer receives resumes of interested and qualified candidates, interviews top candidates, and then hires the appropriate candidate. The entire process from start to finish averages just 30 days. |
