Tom Kendrick joined The PGA of America as a Career Consultant in the fall of 2000. Prior to assuming his Career Consultant position, Kendrick served as the golf manager for the Hamilton County Park District in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also served the Park District as an assistant professional and head golf professional at one of their 18-hole golf facilities. He then moved into the administrative ranks, eventually heading up the golf department as golf manager, managing the operations of their seven municipal golf facilities, which hosted more than 300,000 rounds of golf annually.
Kendrick, a Quarter Century PGA member, was a Southern Ohio PGA Merchandiser of the Year and Horton Smith Award recipient, and has also been an active participant and speaker in national PGA education programs. As a member of the Southern Ohio Section, Kendrick served on multiple committees including publicity, education, apprentice and club relations on both the Chapter and Section levels. Kendrick has worked in the golf business since 1968. |
