Kevin Walls, who started as an Employment Consultant in October 2009, came to work for The PGA of America in 2008 as a Member Support Specialist. Walls has 21 years of head professional and golf management experience at the club level, most recently as director of golf marketing at Harrah's Cottonwoods Golf Club in Mississippi. He has been employed at several Mississippi facilities including Pontotoc Country Club and Grand Oaks Resort, and River Bend Links.
A PGA member since 1991, Walls served on the Gulf States PGA Section Board of Directors for six years. He has won numerous awards including: Gulf States PGA Section Bill Strausbaugh Award for career services in 2004, 2005, 2007; Mississippi PGA Section Professional of the Year in 1999; and Gulf States PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year (Resort category) in 1997.
