Thank you for your interest in the PGA/PGM Accelerated program. Based upon feedback from both PGM accelerated students and employers, the current program is being discontinued to make way for our revised curriculum. We are enhancing the accelerated program curriculum, and the revisions will be completed and operational for the Fall 2010 session. Please check back in the second quarter of 2010 for dates/details, etc.
The pre-requisites for this program are a four year college degree, pass the PGA's Playing Ability Test and complete the qualifying level. The qualifying level cost is $ 200.00 which consist of three on-line courses (Intro to PGM, History & Constitution and Rules) followed by a computer based exam.
The PGA/PGM Accelerated program is for individuals that want to become a PGA Professional and a member of The PGA of America. The PGA/PGM Accelerated Level 1 Program is to give college graduates, who have already passed their Playing Ability Test (PAT), an opportunity to complete all Level 1 courses in an accelerated in-class format.
The Accelerated Program is designed to act as a springboard through Level 1 for those candidates who hold a four-year college degree and have completed the PAT. In addition, successful Accelerated Program students create a pool of highly-qualified, self-motivated candidates for PGA professionals.
